Busy Bee!!

This past month (in actuality the past four months) have been spectacular! My endeavors of getting ready for Harding University next spring (really this January) is working! God is good, all the time. I recieved another scholarship, a rather big one that will support me majorly. This scholarship is from the local hospital, and when I graduate with my bachelor's degree in nursing, I will go back to the hospital and work for 2 years. It's crazy thinking of the next six years in my life is kinda planned out. Slightly freaky! But really awesome at the same time! So I've been thinking more of the now limited time I have with friends and family here before I leave, that's insane! But it will make times more interesting. I leave with a view of me in London....I am obsessed!

  

Carving Pumpkins!

I carved my first pumpkin of 2010 this past weekend. I had high hopes for my own version of Big Ben (since I am clearly obsessed with England). I started off carving with high expectations and confidence. But, with a slip of the knife, my hope of honoring London was quickly dashed. I accidently took out the entire clock tower, so I had a rather large gaping hole. No worries! There is another side of a pumpkin! So I went classic and made a girly pumpkin face! I consider it a job well done!

The Studious Student

It's break time right now for me, the productive student. It's just been busy today doing homework and studying. But it's all good! A lot is being done. I just wanted to lament on my studies...but I shouldn't. It's really not that bad, and I just need to take it one day at a time. Great, so now I'm inadvertently scolding myself gently. Woo-hoo!

Party Time!

In just a few moments I will be stepping out the door to grace my presence at my good friend Jenny's Sweet Sixteen! I'm rather excited! A bonfire/fall party! I don't think things could get any better for this occasion. Well of course there's cake! And that will most assuredly be provided! : )

La-Di-Dah

Today is a spectacular day! The weather is just shy of perfect! I love fall; mostly for the leaves, pumpkin pie, and other things that I cannot think of at this particular moment. I was able to get to enjoy lunch outside today, watching the water shimmering in the sunlight. I had an England flashback. I had the amazing opportunity to visit jolly ol' England in June. I fell in love needless to say, such an amazing country. So I just thought of the different memories and happenings that went on while on vacation there. Reminiscence, what a lovely thing!

The Quizzical Brow

That is the description of my face while trying to put together this blog. So far I am a complete newbie, and am proud of it. I hope to get more creative as time goes on! I really don't know what to expect with blogging, to me it sounds quite spectacular, once I get my feet wet. We shall see. I leave you as a perplexed but determined person!
